A quick note to anyone who posts a comment in the random commenty list thing that's on everyone's da page: It's not that I don't care what you said, it's just that I don't ever visit my own da page, for reasons I won't bore you with. Can't hardly respond to something I never saw, can I?

This account name is totally random. That's by design. I thought, hmm, I want to open a DA account, but not under the same stupid name I've been using on the internet for years, let's come up with something new. Looking around the room, I happened to see a box of "Toasted Wheat" cereal sitting on the counter, and thought "wow, can't get much more random than that," and so here I am.

And no, if you haven't guessed, my name isn't actually John Quiz Toast in the real world, which is a shame, because that would be an awesome name. I could get a job as a teacher and then all of my students would have to call me "Mr. Toast," which would completely undermine any chance I had of coming across as a serious authority figure. Maybe I should change my name. If I ever need a stage or pen name, John Q. Toast will definitely be it.

The funny thing about journal entries is that you can't tell if reading them will be a waste of your time until you get to the end, and by then it's too late.
